Data Deletion Instructions
1. Overview
At OutputWork, we take your data privacy seriously. In accordance with global data protection regulations (including GDPR and CCPA) and platform requirements (such as Facebook/Meta Developer Policy), this page provides clear instructions on how you can request the permanent removal of your account, personal details, and workspace data from our platform.
2. Self-Service Deletion
The easiest and fastest way to delete your data is directly through the OutputWork platform interface. Depending on your role, follow the appropriate method below:
For Workspace Administrators (Admins)
Deleting a workspace permanently removes the organization profile and all associated member accounts, attendance records, progress logs, and billing history.
- Log into your admin dashboard at app.outputwork.com.
- Navigate to Workspace Settings in the left sidebar.
- Go to the General / Danger Zone section.
- Click on the Delete Workspace button.
- Confirm the action by typing your workspace name when prompted.
For Staff Members & Employees
Your data is isolated and controlled by the organization that invited you.
- To delete your profile details, contact your organization's Workspace Admin.
- The Workspace Admin can remove you from the team via the Staff Management panel, which deletes your profile and anonymizes or deletes your historical attendance logs.
3. Manual Deletion Requests
If you are unable to access your dashboard or require assistance deleting a specific piece of personal information, you may submit a manual request to our privacy compliance team.
To request data deletion manually:
- Send an email to privacy@outputwork.com.
- Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request - [Your Workspace/Account Name]".
- In the body of the email, please provide:
- Your full name.
- The email address associated with your OutputWork profile.
- The name of your organization.
- A clear statement indicating whether you want to delete your individual user account or your entire organization workspace.
Once received, our team will verify your identity to protect against unauthorized deletions, and process the request.

- User Profile Info: Legal name, email, credentials, and configuration settings.
- Activity Metrics: Clock-in/out timestamps, check-in history, location data, and status logs.
- Work Outputs: Task descriptions, verification uploads, and quantity progress counts.
- Financial Settings: Base pay rates, target compensation grids, and pending payout summaries.
5. Timelines & Backups
Active Database: For self-service deletions, the data is removed immediately. For manual email requests, processing completes within 5 business days after identity verification.
Backup Systems: Residual data residing within encrypted daily backups will persist for up to 30 days before being completely overwritten. During this retention period, the backup copies are kept strictly secure and cannot be accessed or restored for production purposes.
6. Third-Party Integrations
If you have integrated OutputWork with external services (such as Slack, WhatsApp Cloud API, or Supabase triggers), the deletion of your OutputWork account automatically tears down active webhooks and cancels channel subscriptions.
